We decided on an ambush attack, the Egyptians marching in column with cavalry protecting the rear. The Mahdists on both sides.
The Mahdists were sighted and charged the left front of the column.
the attack faulted but drew the attention away from the camels sneaking up behind. I know it is impossible for a camel to sneak, but the other guy just ignored them.
the rear of the column formed square but sent in the cavalry who were surrounded and swamped.
Camels hit the forward column in the rear, but they turned to face and killed most of them, however with their backs turned the mahdists butchered them.

Battle of the three armies
The first battle of the three armies. Sounded like a good idea at first, turned out into 2 separate battles.
Goblins sent in the Cave trolls against the undead, while moving most of the infantry around the undead flank, after this they sent a small unit of warg riders and bats to hassle the dwarves.
Undead Attacked across the stream, For some reason the vampires got instantly killed, so the skeletons had to launch a full attack with all the infantry. This failed and the skeletons ended up back on the opposite bank of the river.
Quick necromancy spells filled the un-dead ranks and a second attack carried through.

Sino Japanese war 1894
Here are a few shots of our first Sino Japanese war game. I have not even got the command finished yet let along the scenery but we made do.
The game was quite good, not exactly awesome, basically I was playing Japanese and the Chinese whipped my back side! I blame the dice!
Japanese guns in cover of a small farm, as the civilians run for cover.
The guns proved to be much less than I hoped for.
The Chinese deployment, medium guns, Banner infantry and Kensu braves in red.

Aliens Vs. Colonial Marines
We finally got the aliens out to play, in a stand up fight. The marines started with 2 command posts, one on the river and the other on the main road flyover.
The aliens occupied the factory and set out in a swarm at the marines, The tanks engaged first, doing little damage.
On the river the marines dug in, putting up barbed wire and sandbags and awaited attack.
Aliens captured the opposite side of the bank but were prevented from attacking by the marine monitor.
The monitor kept the aliens pinned with heavy fire.
At the fly over a drop ship opens up on the aliens with better effects than the tanks, rockets doing a lot of damage!
Aliens charged the first line of defence, the marines lost an APC.
Bad rolling led to the loss of the monitor. But killed off almost all the large creatures leaving only face huggers.
With defences over run the marines called in an evac, the dropship landed and made ready to take off but the dice were against them.
Aliens over ran the drop ship, its passengers lost.
Surviving face huggers swim the river and take out the Landing craft.
Caught outside their defences the marines across the river were over run.
The last stand lasted a full 3 turns, but shear alien numbers overwhelmed the marines.

Aliens
An aliens army, all figures from Pendraken, what you see above is a £13.00 battlepack and 3 packs of figures in addition, Aliens, little aliens and face huggers. Overall a great little army, only had one game so far but it went well. Marines got owned! The figures are great with not much painting needed either, what with aliens been basically black. The figures are based with grey basetex (made by myself) and is has a good effect I think. So here they are.

the little guys, supposed to be dog bursters but as I am old fashioned and hate Prometheus and I am usig these as immature aliens, basically 1 setp from a little chest burster. Basically I think aliens look like aliens regardless of what life form they chestate in, after all why do all cuckoos look the same, if you dont like it read the old comic strips, much better than the terrible new films.
Here is the centrepeice of the army, the alie nest. Made of milliput with pendraken egg cases added in with casualties. The casualties/victims are dressed as both marines and the guys from AVP (Aliens Vs. Predators) So they are in winter/snow/cold wether oufit, hece the orange/yellow. The reason for this is thats what I was watching when making it and I am thinking of fighting over an abandoned whaling station.

Colonial Marines
Here is my first little collection of marines for my aliens game, its very much a work in progress, but this little group is enough for a small game.
The marines, on an express elivator to hell
Robot Centries with operators, you get 3 in a pendraken heavy weapons pack so I got 2 packs and did 2 to a base with operators seperate so I can use them as officers and command aswell.
The APC No marine unit is without, armed with lots of good heavy gear!
2 marine squads, each of 2 fire teams, after deciding on a basing theme this orgonisation works quite well.
